That's a really good sound man. I think I'll come back with a better critique as I got to go somewhere, but it sounds beautiful and accessible. Not muzak 'beautiful,' not generic beautiful, it is still filled with emotional depth.

Don't stop making ones like the last one, even if it is less accessible. It's all real expression, but just know this is a beautiful sound. It explores less painful, but also meaningful places.

Ok... Real quick before I go, I showed my friend again. And she says she is very impressed with this song. So it's a hit. :D

Ok, on the composition. I think I hear what might be some suspended/augmented sounds which can sound otherworldly without sounding atonal. The song is definitely more centered than the last on a key.

Phrasing is probably your most accessible yet. Lots of call and response, lots of breathing room for listeners. The lyrics are conveying imagery that is effective but not cliched.

If I were to show a listener a single song of yours, as a single this might be it. It really impresses me how you can tackle this part of the emotional spectrum without getting sappy. It's a very rare talent, Smokey Robinson was a genius being able to write a love song 100s of ways and twist cliches around on their head, but a lot of times, I feel like a sappy fraud when writing less depressing emotions.

You've written something that gives relief, happiness, and peace to a listener. So you definitely have it in you to write from this angle too. So keep going, and cover every emotion you find interesting. Artists don't need limits.

Thanks everyone, I'm pretty happy with how this one turned out. I'm going to re-record it tomorrow and show you the finished piece :).  KillerKu thanks, I tried my best to not make it appear tacky and cheesy. I've been listening to You Am I recently, they were masters at this style of writing,
