  1. You have a nice voice Elisse! One thing I kept noticing, your shoulders move up and down when you breathe quite a bit. I would say that is creating unneeded tension in the body, especially the throat/larynx. Try this exercise before singing. Bring your awareness to your shoulders,feel any tension in them, and let them relax and drop. Honestly, any body awareness exercise before singing can do wonders. Take your awareness and scan the body letting go of all tension. You'd be surprised the tension held in the body unknowingly. Also try working on better breath support with the diaphragm. Feel the breath expand in your back as well as your sides. Also make sure you are keeping an open throat/high soft palate. Just my opinion/tips. I'm no expert. Keep up the good work!
