Heaven and Hell - unplugged

Heaven and Hell. It changed the direction of Black Sabbath. And the career of Ronnie James Dio. Before this, he sounded very different, due to recording engineers and types of music. With this band and this song, he found his "Dio" sound, I think. He started out with motown type stuff and even covered other bands for a while. But I think this "dark opera" thing suited him best. That is, the dark sound of Black Sabbath with Tony Iommi's penchant for the "Devil's Tri-tone" and the evil foreboding it could present, just like a darkly lit horror movie. I like this song for the juxtaposition of major chords to provide a glimmer of hope on the road in the Valley of the Shadow of Death.
