That depends on whether you are serious or just trying to be a jerk.

If you are serious and thought that sounded good, then no, it did not sound good and you need work.

If you really trying to sound good but knew it sounded bad and you really want to sound better AND you really want to work on it. Then you can get better.

If you were singing bad on purpose, Then leave Jimmy.....forbrains alone and stop being like him with other people.

I have given you constructive criticism already. You can hear when other singers are off key and when the tone does not work. You have told them. If you can do that when listening to other singers then you can do it for yourself.  If you do want to sound better and you are not just trolling people, you need to listen to your singing and work on the problems. One line at a time or one note at a time.

when working on pitch play one note at a time and let it ring out and sing while the note is ringing out  so you can hear when the notes match. Do that until you can play the note and match it with your voice. Record yourself practicing and listen to it to see whether you actually sang the same note or not. If not do it again with adjustments.

While practicing/training     sing the low notes with a voice you would use for reprimanding a child or a voice that you would use when defending yourself against an attack  but still want to be quiet. Full strong but under control. That way you will use your full voice not a weak falsetto that will not help anything. You want to be able to control your voice, not let it do anything it wants to do. You make the sound for a reason. If it sounds bad....USE or TRY ANOTHER SOUND....until you find one that DOES sound good.

Don't sing a note and then find it on the piano. Play the note and match the pitch. Do this with your low range first.

If you were trying to sing the melody.....start at the beginning and work on one phrase at a time. The first sung note is G.

You are also singing(at the beginning) and octave lower than the original. If you were doing that on purpose keep the whole song in that range instead of trying to sing the high notes too high with a falsetto sound.

Im not sure what you mean now, well actully that has been written an octive higher then the notes you can hear. Look and listen to the first note (or second as I am a little confused as to the first note). written on the bass clef it should be a G4 but sounds like a G3

And they usually write them one octave higher to keep it in line with the bass clef, but forgot or can not be bothered (or as with this particular publisher that seam to own all the online content for some reason left for another story) to place the 8th undernigh the bass clef so we know to go down 8 notes

There is a forbin rule of thumb that ever core singer should know, and if you dont you are usless now pack it all in beofre you make a fool out of your self1 (not the jimmyshitforbrains this time but the clasical forum)

And that is bass notes written on the bass cleff, tenor notes written on the trebble one octave higher and alto and sop written on the cleff as normal

I had had a listen to the original, and the who lot is in a higher key, but it does not appear to one octave higher then mine

As the end of corus "and hes watching us all with the eye"  he dragges the word eye out to more of a G4, but that score I posted has 3 notes being played E,3 A3, C4

https://www.musicnotes.com/sheetmusic/mtd.asp?ppn=MN0107074

It was the theme for a very famos movie. was there several versions of the song?

You start out singing an octave lower than him. When he goes into the chorus...you try to sing the same notes as him, but you are not singing the same notes.

The sheet music is correct but an octave lower.

Have another look at the score, (for some reason) there are 3 notes being played together

The top notes are the melody. Period. whether by flute or voice. That is what the singer is singing. It is not I who does not know. It is you and you insist that when someone says something that you did not realize, you believe THEY are full of sh^t instead of paying attention and trying to figure out what the person is trying to teach.

I will have a look online for another score as they may of done many versions of this song, bit like staying alive done by the beegess steps and saturday night fever as I remember many different scores, and elvis little less conversation as well

But anyway this is far better advice hear then over at the jimmyshitforbrains as by now all his bullyboys would of been out by now to say this tone deaf twerp obvusily can not tell the difference hear and is wasting his time, when infact it is them that can not tell the difference and are wasting there lifes on the jimmyshitforbrains
