Actually its not my singing and not my voice LOL!
I purchase karaoke backing tracks from this site https://www.karaoke-version.co.uk/
The 4 different songs I uploaded, you can purchase them with the a singer covering the song in the same way you can with out a singer karaoke style. As far as I can hear all 4 of them are sang by different singers but I picked the 4 tracks for this experiment that the voices sounded closest together as I was trying to see if anyone was going to say they are all sang by different singers!
Hear is an example https://www.karaoke-version.co.uk/instrumental-mp3/robbie-williams/candy.html

This is for a music production video I have done so I can sell myself online.  That I have mimicked in time to on the video and replaced the audio with what you can hear in the clip

At a guess I would say they where done in a proper proper (no backstreet) recording studio. As far as pitch alteration goes, I have no idea as I am not a sound engineer and never worded in a recording studio before and never worded in music production of photography in my life! I know nothing about this art but this is the industry standard thing for selling your self as a live singer nowerdays! And I do know one thing, and that is with all my equipment I can never get as good as the sound sold online!

But that is what people want when they go online to be lied and cheated on by internet fraud, so bolex to them if you can't beet them join them!!!

Looks like you dont have to sing well to be a good singer any more, all you need is a good online profile!

That is where the BS is Squirrel, Sideshow, 2Cats etc. The minute you start singing at a gig and you don't sound like you did on the advertisement you will either be told to leave or you will be blacklisted. If you actually can deliver the goods, that reputation will follow you also.

You can pretend to be something all you want but it will not stand up in the real world. Do the work, get better and be a good singer singing live.If training is not helping you get better...that is on you NOT the teacher. You have to learn how to recognize when things do not "sound right" and change the way you sing until they do.

Yep but BS makes the world go round nowerdays remember

These people who turn to a so called agency or online directory are looking to book a singer/ band for there wedding/ birthday party and to do it on the cheap and more then likely never booked a band or singer in there lifes! and if they did book again say in 10 20 years time thing will have moved on and all forgoten about

They are not pubs clubs that hold live entertainment every weekend, If they are never going to book again then who cars how good or bad they sounded as long as the agent gets paid. and the agency say they book there singers nation wide job; in other words one saturday night your in London and the next your in Glasgow, by the time you get back to that city all will be forgoten about. So no your reputation will not follow you and dose not matter a shit any more! (thanks to youtube and facebook)

PS further more to prove my point

If reputation and quality and all of that ment a shit to the agencies then the bulk of them would audition you first and not be one bit intrested about your facebook and youtube channel. Sadly just about all of them dont audition and want to see what you look like on film first and only.

Well this is why in previus lifes hear I talked about the TV/ computer screen being a 2D hollow graphic ellussion. People want to be lied fooled shafted and frawded otherwise the world would not allow its self to be what it is would it not?

People do not want to be lied to. Sure there are people who want to fool you, but you do not want to be fooled. That is why YOU are are on the trolling end now because you believe someone FOOLED you and you did not like it.

Agencies may look at pictures and videos first, but if you cannot deliver, they are not going to represent you. They have a reputation to live up to also. If a booking agent keeps sending duds, no one will use the agency.

You are still on the trolling end. Passing off someone else's singing as your own is no joking matter.

But when you go to sing it live.... The truth will come out. Pat yourself on the back for lip-syncing.  It seems to me MillyVanilly got in trouble for that and so did Katy Spears.

And if the Agents are looking for talent through videos and facebook pages and such, then the way you look AND present yourself is going to be just as important as the singing....

It seems to me what you want is to sing and have people respond with applause and praise and ask you to sing some more. You get that by working to sound better. And if you do lip-sync, then you have the problem of the visual experience to go along with it. What are you going to do, surround yourself with a hologram of Michael Jackson or Elvis? If you get the applause it will be for them and not you.

You do have the potential to improve, with your own voice. But YOU have to make the changes. Learn how to apply to your voice the things that will help you improve.

Cutting others down for what they do to improve is not going to help you.

As I said before, i do not have to ability to produce the quality sound from a $100000 recording studio with my mk58 and 65 quid behringer mixer. GroovyGustavo is not daft! he suspected the recording was modified and I would guess it is like all of them realy

I think you are missing the point! and that is they all do it, they all dub the sound from there video and replace it from sound from a recording studio. as long as you sing the right words at the right time then I dont see how anyone one will notice

Some of them MAY do that  but they are also dancing and putting on some kind of a show or are otherwise Eye-Candy. They are not doing that on the road to stardom. They maybe doing that AFTER the money or the name is made, but not before. The Agents have to have some kind of reason to believe you are going to be making them money or they are NOT going to represent you..

The quality of sound equipment is not in question. The quality YOU can produce without electronics is. Basic Pitch Matching, tone control and song delivery is. All of which can be improved.

This is the agency I was looking at. Now have a look at this guy pranging about on stage and say yes there is no way he can sing with proper breath support and alinment as the sound has to be dubbed. BUT NO HE HAS NOT (as you said) made it to the big time yet! he is just another joe bloggs pubs and clubs and wedding singer, going along with the way the world works. Never heard him live so I can not comment but I am sure the main stream (including the agencies) will from an opnion of his singing going off of his video

Well you ask Felipe then why he posts vidoes of him singing with thosonds if not 10 of thosonds dollars worth of equipment and why he dose not just use the recorder from a 9.99 moble phone out of wallmark or a 1.99 head phones plugged into his computer?

If you have the choice go with the better equipment. You still have to have basic singing skills if you are going to sing live. And if you do not want to sing live then why are you on this forum at all? Others are here to improve and get legit reviews. Do I sound good? If you do, Yes you sound good. If not, It does not sound as good as it could with work. Where did I go wrong? Most of the singing is Flat or sharp. What can I do to fix that? Get some kind of Pitch generator or Piano keyboard or such and strike a note...Listen to it and Match the pitch. If it does not sound right... do that until it does sound right...Try another pitch...Repeat.  Then try a short melody....Play the melody. Then sing the melody. Record your self sing that melody... Are you Flat on some notes? If so play the melody one note at a time and match each pitch...Repeat. "i still just do not sound right." My new motto is "If you do not sound good with your voice....Use someone else's". Not from electronics but use their mannerisms when you sing. They may be doing something that you have not been doing.

Listen to the difference in voice quality between Willy Nelson and Elvis Presley.  Willy Sings Bright and Twangy. It almost sounds as if he is singing through  his nose or the front of his face. This is one style of singing that you can adopt. Elvis sings DEEP and DARK. Towards the back of his throat. This is another style of singing. One way helps in some songs and the other helps in other types of songs. One has a FORWARD tilt of the Larynx Like in Crying and the other has a Backward Tilt Like a tough guy attitude The opposite of Crying.

well come on it obvius why he choices to record with proper equipment! because he sell him self online as a singer and a teacher. The reason I posted it hear was to see if anyone could spot the different voices from one song to another

And do you honestly think this is not happening! I refere to the same agency again, but this time a barry white tribute act.

http://bigfootevents.co.uk/Hire/Barry-Gibb-Tribute-Night-Fever

With the padding behind him would indicate he is in a recording studio and you can see a dynamic mic, but he is a good 2 feet away from it! that would not pick up very well, so dose that not kind of give the game away really that he is not singing into the mic, also there is no pop filter present on the mic, nearly all studios have one, also when he sings "making it mine"  in the chorus, the word mine is sang on a D5 and dragged out for 2 bars, and look at him in the video, at that point he crowches his head into his sholders and still sounds grand.

so

1. he is singing to far away from the mic for it to sound proper

2. no pop filter

3. singing long high note with poor allinment

So if one was in a recording studio why would they go to the trobble of dubbing the sound when its all there and all there and all they have to do is plug there camera into mixer desk station, why go to a recording studio and dub the sound. is he not at home with a fake stage setup and has not even been to a recording studio to do this dubbed sound. That is the logic to why I think it is someone ells voice and not his

I don't understand the point of this thread?

Pretending to be someone else is not really going to make you go anywhere? And if you do (Which in itself it's rare), you get caught eventually.

Just one question, why?
