DoverOs
uhm, not sure what the goal was, If your going for a vibrato effect, use a buzzing E vowel, versus your open sounding vowels. and let your voice bridge into the lower and upper notes, because it sounded like you were locking your larynx into a single spot, unless that was what you were shooting for. DoverOs
I like it a lot, sounded good. dunno where to go from here, but I would say, work on sustaining notes!. if you ever have to sing a gig where they have crappy audio equipment, you really need to sustain your notes to get a melodic effect. something that everyone needs to work on! L06383424H
Alright, so I recorded a vocalmentral and it's basically an instrumental. http://soundcloud.com/l06383424h/instrumental Then I mixed both tracks because I know how sometimes instruments make people sound better and I think I'm onto something: http://soundcloud.com/l06383424h/littlelamb-extended-with-music Thanks so much for the complements you made my day and really improved my singing. I had to upgrade to Audacity I've been using Windows Recorder that comes with windows xp.

Guest
Please don't take this the wrong way, I'm just a little confused:) I'm willing to admit that it might be me...maybe I'm just ignorant to the fact that what you are doing may be an actual technique. Maybe I should be doing it also! But are you just reciting a nursery rhyme? And for your so called "backing music/instruments" you're just using your voice to mimic instruments I don't get it. Why not just find a backing track and sing something? Or maybe someone is just yanking our chain?
L06383424H
Sorry, I'm not sure what you're saying, did I do something wrong? Did you not like the 'backing music' originally and uniquely created by me?
Seth
Okay. a lot of this is out of key, and what is not out is monotone. It was as if you were trapped between reading aloud, rap, and singing. The melody was a bit awkward, and more like a poetry recitation. I don't intend on being cruel. But there is a lot to work on here, if you are willing to work, you'll improve. I'll leave it to the more experienced forum members to help you with plan of attack.
