TMV World Legacy Member izzle1989 Posted July 20, 2012 TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted July 20, 2012 Hey Guys Here's a quick video of me trying Ain't No Sunshine. Sorry, not really sure how to post the actual video. Feel free to be brutal! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H3jZYQwKvxg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H3jZYQwKvxg Cheers Nice Cover and great style. The first thing that stuck out to me was the clenching of the jaw. I feel that if you can learn to release your jaw a little more then your tone will improve immediately. Other than that I hear a few support issues, but I believe dropping the jaw a little more will help with this. "verum ipsum factum"

TMV World Legacy Member napoleonboot Posted July 22, 2012 TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted July 22, 2012 Besides the very minor point below it's great, well done. At 1'12 where you sing "aint no sunshine when she's gone" following I Know, I Know. It sounds to me like in that line you arent confident of what the melody is, and so are 'bluffing'. George can often be found playing electric stringy things, and singing... TMV World Legacy Member bigfoot Posted July 25, 2012 Author TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted July 25, 2012 Thanks for the feedback guys, will try and get another attempt up after practicing with a loose jaw! @ Guitargeorge - you're absolutely right mate.. In the sense, yes I do know the melody, but right at that spot I blanked out for a second.. It's funny you mentioned it, because I remember exactly when it happened, don't even need to review the video! But yeah, the idea was to do one take, and see what comes out naturally.. didn't want to refine it till it would be performance worthy.. cheers
