  1. hey man! Suprisingly good. The fast rythm is interesting. You have a good voice. To refine it more you could take more care of your pronunciation ,>
  2. Hey ,> Very nice tone. How long have you been singing/studying for?
  3. hey Melie ;> Very fun song and your delivery was fun to listen to! It seems to picked up some power in comparison with your previous uploads. Adding a bit more pharyngeal to your voice would definately help your tone a lot and make your screams easier and more precise too. Overall, really nice! I enjoyed it!
  4. Vinziant I don't want to be blunt, but you're just breaking into headvoice. Even your chest down low is completly lacking core. You don't NEED all this BS I'm a bass, baritone, tenor atm at all. You just need a good approach to the voice. How on EARTH can you know your fach when you're just a starter? When you barely have ANY full chest voice? I can't believe teachers or people who convolute young guys who want to train and are eager to learn, because they are essentially slow them down. Give me your oovoo ID, I'll install it for you, because I just can't stand stuff like this.
  5. you don't have a pc or stuff? I prefer not to install a program I won't use ...
  6. Hey Vinzant ;> I don't see any point in classification for you at this moment, but you deffinately don't sound even REMOTELY close to a bass Maybe that's where your currently most comfortable at. You need a good teacher to start guiding you through the basics. Before you start doing this, you need to honestly answer yourself: a) are you willing to make the TIME commitment to become a good singer. It takes many years for most people (unless you're some kind of prodogy), despite all the marketing tralala which promisses great voices in just a few weeks. are you willing to make a Financial commitment to study once/twice a week OR do you have the dedication to occassionally take a lesson, write and tape everything and then sit down and analyse and practise rigorously yourself? I'm willing to help you get started, but only if you display serious signs of you REALLY wanting to become a singer. Not in words, but by showing your commitment.
  7. Hey laDanoise about your clip, with more vocal stamina, less grip to the voice, and beter vowels you'd sound even beter ,> You have alot of potential especially being untrained! I'm currently training 3h a day 7 days a week to train my voice for the heavy tenor repertoire ;> Before that it was more lighter stuff and musicals I sung. I've been teaching for some years now, and I'm trying to help people get to the next level until they can afford lessons. Since I'm holding a fulltime job as a Marketing Manager and train 2-3 hours a day on myself, it's only a few people I help who are really dedicated and serious about going forward with their voices, and also people who can't make the financial commitment yet. I know alot about the voice, I'm featured here as a subject matter expert and been around quite some years in the vocal teaching community ;> Anyway, if you need the help add me on skype, or if you need references for teaching shoot me a mail ;>
  8. hey laDanoise ;> Thank you for sharing your clips with us. You have a good musical ear, nice style and very nice tone. That being said, I think you could use some work on connecting more in your body when you sing in your low parts and don't let go as you go higher. Right now you have a REAAALY beautiful low part of your voice, and a disconected high top. Your voice seems it's a voice which likes roundness more, and you're spreading all vowels, with a high larynx, this causes the sound produced to sound yelled and completely different from your low voice. I should stress that this is a disconected from your body kind of yelling, because one can yell perfectly find and sound as though it's all one voice. (think for example whitney, she yelled like the best of them, but from a grounded place!) hit me up on skype sometime (Elrathion), I can give you some tips which if you practise it you can really improve alot, cse you have a beautiful instrument. And btw I wish I had your natural gift when I started learning how to sing! Great work for comming so far on your own! Hope this helped ;>
  9. Listening to your voice I hear the finished product in my head and it sounds beautiful. Once you'll be able to lean more into those head tones, your voice is going to be off the roof. Right now you can still hear you changing your mechanism. It's good that you keep training your voice in this direction though, as it's certainly lays good within your voice.
  10. Hey Tommy. You have such a beautiful and rare tone. I would think you'd be excellent to sing songs of BB King. About your singing, there are zones where you are doing extermly well. Overall, try not to float into notes as you do sometimes, but to more precisely attack. This will help with the rythm, and overall presentation of the song. I agree w Keith, the microphone didn't do you no favor, you would so much beter if the mic didn't clip. The high notes still need some work, but you're becomming an amazing artist.
