  1. Strip away all the production and loud guitars and the voice of a man shines through ... Chris Cornell with an acoustic...
  2. really good job man. i have no idea on how to give you advice on doing better cuz i cant do it myself, so cant say anything there. great job with the guitar too! kudos!
  3. Joshual, thanks for posting that song man, sooooooo beautiful! I am falling in love with richie again, I need to find out his mp3 collection again from my huge collection lol...
  4. wow great reply jon, thanks a million. I do the SS program so I was very familiar with their stuff but had a 6 month gap so I need to get back to it again. about the cvt terminologies, can you please explain in complete layman's terms what exactly is curbing and neutral and overdrive? are they all related to the volume level of the voice, the sensations or something else completely? I read the cvt book but I get confused. thanks for such a BIG and helpful reply man!
  5. Jon, I wanted to ask you over MSN but our timings are not matching - I know you have good knowledge on SS, CVT & Jamie Vendera's program. Right now these are the 3 programs that I have access to. Which one, in YOUR honest opinion, and which exercises particularly, should I be doing to get this tone and control? Given my schedule with the guitar and everything else, I want to narrow down my singing options, I think its better for me to go the blues-rock-guitar player+singer route rather than aiming for a dedicated singer only route. So again, which program would You recommend? thanks bro.
  6. Bob, thanks man. Infact, I've been thinkin of dropping Joshual an email to ask if he had been successful to learn richie's tone but then for some reason didn't. So asking here and lets share, Joshual, how do get to learn to sing like him? (As i know that you're a long time kotzen fan) Fahim
  7. No specific 'magic moments' here but I just love his voice and wish I could learn how to sound like that someday. Its Richie Kotzen, with only an acoustic at Jason Becker's birthday. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aW0vxa2A0CU too bad that the wind messes the sound up quite a few times...
  8. Oh you are so right my brother!! Most ppl here know how big a Kelly fan I am, so this comment felt awesome! :D
  9. I don't have any inputs on this topic, but I just wanted to applaud Robert for taking on such a sensitive case and helping this person become who she wants to be. Imagine what a great help you are doing to this person's psyche in a world prone to ridicule her. Truly inspiring, Robert! Kudos to you!
  10. Jonpall!!!! This thread is supposed to be about ME ME ME!!! I guess I need to bring my mafia gang and shoot you up! :D:D
  11. Just thought I'd another song from the same show: Going Down by Jeff Beck http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TRxS9kYuz8g I haven't been practicing singing lately, concentrating on putting my instrumental record together, and I guess it shows in my voice. Oh well...one can't have em all I gues.. Enjoy(?) :D
  12. good find! his version of livin on a prayer is really cool as well! : )
  13. Jens's reply about animals just craaaacked me up Lol! too funny!
