  1. Already follow you on Youtube and Facebook. Another great cover, keep up the good work. I think the transitioning is being done about as well as it can be. I normally can offer some advice on these critiques but I really can't find anything to tell you.
  2. I actually thought this was your best job when it comes to sounding American, so to speak. The main place I hear it creep in is on the word "world" but I can't tell if it is the 'r' or the 'l', I just know it sounds different.
  3. You will need to learn how to sing. How old are you and what type of music do you enjoy singing?
  4. No, your size doesn't matter at all. Yes I am talking about the technique and not the anatomical design of your throat and yes I am talking about the diaphragm. Take a look at this master class. You might be able to find some things that really help you from a very good technical teacher.
  5. Like someone else mentioned, the female vocalist is really high up in the mix at times when you are both singing. A good example of being too low in the mix for her, while singing by herself is 1:03 to 1:06 of the video.
  6. Sounds amazing! Incredible musicians, your vocals were perfect and the song has a lot of very unique things about it. Your technique sounds very healthy and it has some elements of Gramm, Michael Bolton and even a little bit of Steve Perry at some parts. If you want some advice, the only problems for me actually had to do with the female vocalist. They weren't really vocal problems as much as they were mixing issues. Some of her lower notes were completely drowned out by the music at a few parts of the song.
  7. It is very, very good. Not sounding exactly like the opera singers is coming some from not have quite as good of support (Takes many years to get very good for this style) and part of it is from your throat configuration. You need the whole body a little bit more engaged to get a fuller sound. Your sound is more full than 99% of female singers that get paid to sing in this world. I can't help you too much as I do not know as much about the female voice. I can tell you that you very good and with refining can be even better.
  8. It is pretty good man! You can work with that. The biggest issues were actually with your accent (Where are you from) on words like this, these, etc. Your vowels are pretty solid though. You have a few issues in your upper range but your voice is connected well and has pretty good consistency throughout your range. Keep going man, you have good ability!
  9. It is not a bad start for somebody new to singing. The problem is that you are basically using a library speaking voice here. I really want to hear you sing before giving and advice because it is hard to know what you have and what you are lacking when you are holding back the way you are here.
  10. Excellent job Felipe. I know how hard it can be to actually drop some technique for certain sounds... I train similar to you and sing use very similar technique. This has more twang and is less open than you usually go for but you did it about as well as it can be done.
  11. I am going to have to echo what MDEW said both on the positives and negatives. A little less nasality and that would have made it a little better for me. Still very good, don't get me wrong but that is the one thing I would tell you to work on.
  12. By support I am talking about how you control breath pressure and airflow without constricting your throat. What type of practice do you do on breathing? Can you give me any exercises or explanations that your coach has given you? Regardless, you do know how to support to some degree because you are belting with what sounds like very little strain.
  13. This is very, very good and there is not much to really critique you on. Since you really want something to work on, I'll tell you what I think. The only thing I hear is some very small support issues at some places. You generate great support when you are belting but sometimes keeping a consistent flow for a run gives you a little bit of trouble. May I ask what your approach to support is and how you have trained it? Are you dropping all of your support on the low notes?
