  1. Thanks man! I'm doing research on aural difference between falsetto and Mixed.
  2. Well The only problem I had personally with your vibrato in this song was that it resonating at a very slow rate. Maybe for this particular song you could try straight tones and see how it sounds?
  3. Hey hey! Alrighty dude, I'm just going to go off of what Tommy said. What is your voice type? This song definitely out of your wheel house at the moment. Try out some softer, lower, ballads. When first starting to sing do NOT strain your voice for higher notes. This causes poor and unhealthy vocal habits and could actually lead to vocal DAMAGE, so be careful! =] If you want to continue singing this song for the time being go into falsesetto in the higher notes. We all hate practice when we think of it AS practice, but I would recommend vocal excersizes. 15-30 mins everyday. Some basic Warm-ups: Sing a 5 note scale on the vowel sounds (Ey, EE, AW, O, Oo) Ascending, then descending. Then move up half a step and repeat. Falsetto: Start where your voice breaks. Sing an ascending 5 note scale strictly on Oo. Keep moving up by half steps until you notice tension in your throat, then descend. Repeat same scales more than once for maximum effect. Sing as loosely as possible. Too much tension= BAD Drink lots of water!
  4. Hey man, You definitely have the notes; however, you should absolutely work on your vocal technique. I see A LOT of tension and strain when you sing, this can lead to many vocal health problems. There are a variety of falsetto technique excersizes you can do to help improve your range and the ease of the accessablity of your higher range. Some problems I saw were: Placement of jaw when you went for the higher notes, you "pressed" your vocal chords, (pressing your jaw downward to cause tension). This tightens your vocal chords and helps with to achieve that sharp high pitched Rock n' Roll Scream. This can do more harm than good and can over stress your vocal chords. This also fatigues your voice faster. I agree with the previous comment about the finger in the ear thing. Cuts your volume. Bad habit! We all have bad habits in the beginnings. I personally have poor tongue placement haha Confidence! You have a great voice bro. Loosen up some more and you will be amazing! Great Job, keep at it! :D
  5. Really Nice voice man. I would research vibrato technique if I were you though. Also don't over do it. Give your voice time to rest so you don't develop vocal nodes and such.
  6. Very Impressive, Sir. But I must say.....longest instrumental entrance ever!!!!! haha I have questions! Was this in Full Voice? or Were the Higher notes in Falsetto?
  7. I feel like the tone of your voice leans more towards tenor; however, you should showcase your chest register with a better song for us to really be able to tell. You do have a lovely singing voice btw
