  1. This song is pretty meaningful for me... any tips on how to improve my performance are, as always, appreciated. Julia :)
  2. Loveovelove how different it is Neat twist One thing - I would have preferred if you'd done either harmonies instead of just doubling up your voice or not double it at all. Makes it sound a little over-edited, just my two cents Great job :D
  3. Hello everyone I had the chance to perform a set of original songs for a local festival. The above is a link to one of them. Any constructive criticism would be appreciated, whether on vocals or lyrics Thanks! Julia
  4. Thank you both for the great feedback I'll be taking both opinions into account from now on and trying to apply them to future performances Julia
  5. Any, tips, comments or critique, let me know!!! I'm always striving to become a better performer and singer, so the more feedback the better Please Julia
  6. It's a little past Christmas now, but this is a song I sang for a recital Any, tips comments or critiques are welcome. (Before anyone says anything I am aware of the couple flat notes i hit at the beginning :/ I think it was an issue of my needing to be more confident going into the notes, but any comments on the matter are welcome ) Thanks!! J
  7. MDEW, Thanks. That's definitely a good tip and something I will take into account for future performances Julia
  8. Soo... I performed this a while back for a comptetion - and I feel like it was a little static. Does anyone have any specific tips on diversifying my performances? Or any tips of comments at all http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HXlkgrrJzRI&list=UL Thanks!! Julia
  9. Hi This is a live performance I did of the amazing song Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen. Any tips, comments or critiques are welcome Julia Montgomery
  10. Excellent job, she seems to have a beautiful voice. If you post a higher quality version, I can give some critique, but it's hard to pinpoint things when the vocals come though the camera a little tinny:/ J
  11. You have a beautiful voice. Now you can take it a step further: don't be afraid be operatic (your vowels should be long and tall) and careful it doesn't get too breathy. Like I said though, stunning talent. From a fellow young vocalist, keep at it J
  12. Good job I agree that the doubling could be cut back a bit, but it does give it a neat touch Keep singing (and playing) J
