This Love (Maroon 5) cover
juliamontgomerymusic replied to zonshti's topic in REVIEW YOUR SINGING - SHARE YOUR SINGING
Loveovelove how different it is Neat twist One thing - I would have preferred if you'd done either harmonies instead of just doubling up your voice or not double it at all. Makes it sound a little over-edited, just my two cents Great job :D -
It's a little past Christmas now, but this is a song I sang for a recital Any, tips comments or critiques are welcome. (Before anyone says anything I am aware of the couple flat notes i hit at the beginning :/ I think it was an issue of my needing to be more confident going into the notes, but any comments on the matter are welcome ) Thanks!! J

Not bad for a 15yo?

Good job I agree that the doubling could be cut back a bit, but it does give it a neat touch Keep singing (and playing) J -

You have neat texture and great power This isn't my niche so I can't really offer any constructive criticism, but good luck with any future endeavors :) -
Rihanna ...Greek Style!

Nice job. You have a nice voice, but during this song it sounded like you were pushing your voice, which pop songs have a tendency to make people do. If I could hear something that wasn't pop, I could try and offer a little more help Keep singing and good luck in any future endeavors -
Your voice is very pretty Could use a bit of refining, though, which lesson could help you with. I don't want to get too specific because I'm far from an expert, but it seems to me like you're up in your head a bit when you sing, which makes your voice sound a bit thinner than it could otherwise be Try using your chest voice a little more and that will really bring out your best sound. Good luck in any future singing endeavors :)

Hi This is my first post on here This is a version of over the rainbow I performed in a school play. Please please please excuse the flat note at the end. That doesn't usually happen to me so I'm not sure what was up that night :S I think I just got a bit over confident and then let go. Anyways... Julia
