  1. Ok, thanks I will then^^ To the OP: I definitely thought it was awesome, the production was cool. However this is not my style, so I would not buy it.
  2. I really like it, even though it's not really my genre! As for singing I really suck so I can't review yours, but it sounded good~
  3. First of all, sorry if a topic like this already exists, I'm just guessing that cuz it seems to be a pretty common issue? From what I've heard, breathiness comes from "improper vocal cord closure" (please correct if I am wrong) But are there are really good exercises to stop being breathy? I think my voice is extremely breathy ()
  4. Ok, thanks so much Do you mind seeing if I sang with a bit more energy? Even though it's a soft ballad http://themodernvocalist.punbb-hosting.com/viewtopic.php?id=6054
  5. No matter how I try, my singing comes out flat/off-tune~ But the thing is right after I record it, I can't tell at all. I have to wait like a few hours before. The problem is then it's harder for me to tell when I'm off-tune right when I'm singing. I mean, I can tell if I go off-tune by a lot, but I simply can't hear the less obvious deviations. Also I know my voice is breathy, and I believe that's caused by "improper vocal cord closure"? Is there any way to improve that, like the best exercises? Thanks so much!
  6. Thank you for the help, I think I understand now Is there any way to sing with less air passing over?
  7. Well, he's Korean, and his Korean name is Jiyong...Since Yong means dragon and Ji sorta sounds like G, you get G-Dragon. If you think his name is ridiculous, his bandmate's name name is T.O.P. (pronounced "top") and his group's name is Big Bang, lol. I really love Big Bang...their music is awesome and whatever you think of G-Dragon's name, lol, he's a really talented composer, which is rare among kpop idols.
  8. Thank you so much, this really means a lot to me I will try to sing louder and work on pitch and having a bit more gut. Just one question, if I may ask: what do you mean by singing in falsetto and how do I stop doing it? I know what falsetto is, but the notes I sang aren't really so out of my range, and I can't sing a song with notes lower than the one I sang without straining. I really can't hit low notes.... And once again, thanks so much :)
  9. No matter how I try I can't hit the high parts rights in this song I know I'm capable of hitting all of the notes (even if it's with falsetto, but I can't tell) but even though I always have pitch problems it's really hard to do high notes especially. Can anyone please critique my singing in this song? It's Evening Sky by Ailee. I'm sorry it isn't in English but of to all the songs I screw up, this one's one of the better ones. Sometimes I listen to myself sing and I feel so bummed. I'm 14 years old, is there a chance I'll improve? I really want a vocal teacher but unfortunately that isn't possible for me. Also, I was wondering why I'm not as sensitive to what's off-tune? Like I might listen to something and think it's fine even though everyone else thinks it's off-tune. Please reply and please do not hold back....Seriously, I've heard a lot of really bad things about my singing, I can handle it. Thank you so much~!
