  1. Well if I put a link to a song then it may give people a better idea to the extent of the nasality
  2. Hi everyone, I've been told my tone is nasal so how do I incorporate my diaphragm into my singing? Any warmups or techniques? Thank you in advance
  3. Thanks for the feedback, any tips on encouraging the use of the diaphragm? The singer I learn from is Michael Jackson who also sung you were there but don't think he wrote the song nor was first to sing it. I try to spend lots of time opening up the throat and warming up the reason I prefer doing acaoella for critique is that nothing is hidden.
  4. Hi guys and girls havent used this in ages. I just sing because i enjoy just wondered if I was actually any good and if you guys could give pointers etc. I recently discovered lip rolls as warm up exercise and can note the difference in sound. Here's a link to the song. Its acapella style so no music just voice
  5. Any hints tips or comments would be appreciated
  6. I also need to find my own voice and style as it were. Michael Jackson is the main singer I listen to because his range is good and he's a very versatile singer and so I guess that why I sing more the way he does.
  7. I had a bit of a blocked nose but I do notice that trying to reach higher notes that I do that. I need to improve my range though because I can go really high and really low and in the middle but I struggle to go in between middle and low and middle and high. I'd also like to learn some good warm ups because I don't really warm up before I sing I just go straight into it which might help me reach higher notes
