  1. nvm! I met my voice teacher today and everything's getting squared away.
  2. I recently bought pillars about a month ago and its helped me a lot. Ive gained some strength in mu upper range but cant quite seem to sing lighter up there without being breathy. is there something i should be doing or will my voice get less breathy as i keep singing. i have 4 audio clips. in order they go. singing loud. singing quieter. trying to sing softly. and what i think head voice might be? https://soundcloud.com/cjcangelosi/me-singing-loud-1 https://soundcloud.com/cjcangelosi/me-trying-to-not-be-breathy-while-singing-light https://soundcloud.com/cjcangelosi/singing-soft-and-light https://soundcloud.com/cjcangelosi/could-someone-tell-me-whats-going-on-here I would appreciate the help!

  5. I think that they really are not live performances but do you think he can actually hit the notes or do you think he is using software to enhance/Change it?
  6. i can sing those notes in either although its definitely harder to do in chest since ive been working in head for about a week or 2 now
  7. This is Von Smith singing Skip to 3:12 Is this what we are aiming for in the long run though to be able to do that? If so i can do that sort of.
  8. I have been trying to discover this for a long time but can never get it. I only know head and chest. is mix just head voice with cry or meow added to it?
  9. So i have a few questions about vocal range and head voice. 1: My vocal range is around G2 or A2 to D5 ( E5 on a good day) Am i a tenor or a baritone? 2: When i sing in head voice i can sing in head voice from G3 or A3 to E6. 3: After I sing in head voice for a while i will try and sing like a C5 and it feels like im singing a C4. I feel no tension in the throat. 4: If i keep developing my headvoice will it help me to be able to keep singing up high in chest voice or is the effect of it only momentary. 5: I also find that i can bridge my chest to a weak something and then my voice gets thinner and thinner until its a faint little F5 almost like a weak head voice maybe which is wierd but then i cant transition to head. 6: I dont have a break at the passagio... None of the notes are hard. i hit a wall made of adamantium at D5 and thats it. 7: Im 17 years old but have pretty much finished most of puberty and speak on average around D3 8: Hopefully this isnt to hard to follow! I will post some clips of me singing as well... soon!! i hope.
  10. Let me just start off by saying I am new to the forum but have been reading on here for a while now. I was singing run to the hills in its original key in (Chest voice) See that's the problem. I can hit all of the notes in chest voice but it hurts. Not my throat or anything but in my head. It feels like my forehead gets really hot and my temples start to pulsate and it causes a horrible headache. But only when i sing the higher notes. Could it be from over compressing the breath and not enough is getting to my brain or could it be something more severe. Also the headache is so unbearable i have to stop singing but it goes away when i dont sing anymore.
