Organizing sessions is a privilege truly, and sometimes real magic happens. Last Saturday during my Session at the North Sea Jazz club in Amsterdam. Esther van Hees performed a song, which she had just wrote the lyrics to the day before. A tribute to BIlly Strayhorn, music written just a few days earlier by saxophonist Emiel Wienholts. He posted the sheet on Facebook and I suggested they try it out on our stage. The result was well... Enjoy!
