  1. Im no expert,so Im not gonna critique anything about your singing on a technical level..But I can say that I like it..You definitely got a Chris Cornell sound to your voice. So thumbs up as far as Im concerned.
  2. Yeah. Its just nice to find something that is as advertised. So many things just are not..So when something is really good,Im more than happy to spread the good word a bit
  3. Exactly Robert..I would have liked t have gone over each thing/section in TFPOS,but in reality the review would have stretched on for four pages. So at the end I just threw in the towel and told folks to go to your website or visit your youtube page. Its well worth it derek.Im not the kind of guy to leave reviews..Ive been buying on Amazon.com for over 10 years and in that time the only review for a product Ive left has been for Roberts four Pillars program. Thanks man.I appreciate it
  4. ]Hey.Im happy to do it Rob and glad you liked it..I will say that The Four Pillars is a tough one to write a review on though, because there is so much content.Even given the length of my review,I didnt even get to touch on the things you pointed out in your reply (in fear of making it way to long),such as the specialized onsets, vowel modification formulas, training work flows, user media interface (organizes all content on one screen),vocal modes and the 20+ minute video on breathing exercises,etc.,etc. But anyways...Anyone out there looking for a good vocal program that works...The Four Pillars is the one I recommend and Im sure alot of others out there agree with me on that
  5. Hi guys.My names Kain.Im new to the forum here and fairly new to the vocal world in general.I just wanted to leave a review for Robert Lunte's "Four Pillars Of Singing" program.Ill try to gear this review to the few of you out there who havnt tried the Four Pillars Of Singing,or maybe havnt tried any vocal program..So here it goes: First I want to put on record I have zero affiliation with Robert Lunte/TVS.Im just a guy who bought his program and was impressed with it,so I felt compelled to leave him a few good reviews, one of which being the one here on TMV forum: Before starting Robert Lunte's "Four Pillars" program,Id been doing another vocal program (name withheld out of respect) for awhile with modest results. The program was good overall, but had a few things that just didnt connect with me personally. The biggest one was the technique being taught. It seemed to develope a pulling/straining (Belting) tone to everything and that made everybody who implemented it,sound basically the same,no matter the song or style being sung. This was evident among the coach and students, including myself. Some people like that belting tone for everything.I dont.I like having the ability to do it,but I dont want to develope a voice where everything has that same tone.Just my personal opinion..It also gave me a strained feel to everything I did after awhile.I later came to find that this may have had to do with the fact that as a beginner I shouldnt have been taught to pull chest up so far,but should have instead, been taught to bridge early as a beginner. So given that,I decided to give another vocal coach/program a try.I recently,(about two months ago) switched to Robert Luntes/TVS "Four Pillars Of Singing" program.Even after the short time Ive been doing it,my voice is already freeing up and Im able to hit notes I couldnt before. The whole program just makes more sense to me.The scales are more geared toward actual singing,as oppose to just the standard old scales. Also the tongue positions make much more sense and are far more comfortable.Roberts teaching style is also very clear and straight forward. The guy seems to have an in depth knowledge of all things vocal related and could probably be a college professor on the subject of the voice/singing. The program is available in a Hard Copy Book and DVD,or a digital download (with hard copy you get digital download as well).I opted for the hard copy. With it,you get a huge 300++ page book, printed on thick high quality paper, with color photos, diagrams and a ton of info that covers everything one could imagine on the voice and singing (also available on the digital download version as an EBook). The DVD/digital video files, which accompanies the book & Ebook, has approx 370 video and audio files which consist of your training routine/vocal workouts in mp3 audio format and MP4 video format. So you can watch and/or listen to them..You can choose as to whether you wanna train with Robert doing the scales with you, guide files,or solo piano workouts in both keys C & G .As mentioned, there is a video for each one of these workouts, where you can watch the video of Rob doing all of these workouts/scales,which is really helpful for those just getting started. You also get over 30 video lectures from Rob,in which he explains everything in great detail. These were alot of fun to watch and they're one of the parts of the program you will want to revisit regulary, especially in the beginning.Rob also offers in person or skype lessons as well.Something I will be doing within the next couple months. Another unique feature that no other vocal program offers to my knowledge,is the fact that the Four Pillars system/program is consistantly being updated by Robert,as he finds new things to add.So the Four Pillars is not just a one shot deal.It started out with 1.0 and is now on 3.0 with 3.5 coming soon.I believe he is also gonna put out the Four Pillars in different languages this year,in addition to already having several TVS vocal instructors all over the globe. So if anyone out there is looking for a vocal program,I personally highly recommend this one.It really does cover it all ,whether you wanna sing rock, hard rock,metal,country,pop,soft,hard,belting,etc..The techniques offered in the program will allow you to develope a voice that will allow you to sing whatever you like..Hell,Robert even teaches distortion techniques, which alot of vocal coaches dont go into... Again this review was aimed at those out there who havnt tried this program or maybe any program for that matter. So I made it a bit lengthy in trying to cover as much as I could about the TVS Four Pillars system. But in reality the best way to find info about it is to simply go to Robs website here: http://thevocaliststudio.com/ or you can check out Roberts youtube page (which is where I found about Rob/Four Pillars) here http://www.youtube.com/user/roblunte/videos
