Kilovolt

Hello, first off, I'm by no means a mix engineer. That aside, one of the first things that pops out to me is that the acoustic guitar doesn't seem to blend in the mix very well. It sounds like it's separate from the mix almost. Part of it I think is the fact that it's panned hard left. Panned left seems to be a good place to put it, so keep it left. But bring it in a little closer to center. This would allow it to be heard in the right ear as well as the left (more left though) which would make it take up more space. That's just my opinion on what I think might make it sound a little better. Overall great mix though. You got those drums sounding pretty good. Good luck with the competition :)

This is a cover of Name by the goo goo dolls I recorded. It's not the whole song it's only the first verse and chorus. There's no fx or anything, just straight out of the mixer. I boosted the vocals up so they can be heard better. Some feedback on how my voice sounds and what I could do to improve would be awesome. Thanks Here's the link:
