  1. Yeah I didn't really know the song that well... but as far as volume it's just what I'm using to record. I can control how loud it records my voice... but I try to make it not too much louder than the music. I'd be better off choosing a song I actually know. I can turn myself up because I did sing louder. I think the pitch problems came because I had to guess some notes.
  2. The reason I sing quietly is because I have a naturally soft voice. I have the AAproach and I do not have a vocal coach.
  3. You are right I am more comfortable in the middle. I am still learning. I have a vocal program that I am following. I'll remember to sing louder next time. I was told that I could not sing and to give it up.
  4. I'm learning to sing in my own voice... and not having as much throat tension
  5. First, I want to point out that I started to have throat tension while singing this song again... I did lip rolls for 10 minutes.  How long should I do vocal warmups? When singing to a song... I feel like I start trying to sing in that singers voice/key... which leads to throat tension... why is that? When I sing acapella I have my own singing voice and do not have the tension.
  6. I'm sorry it was working but then it went down... so this is the new link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IqHMFHqPeMU
  7. I didn't post for awhile... but I wanted you to actually judge this song for me as well. I just wanted to try and do a little better... I'm really serious about taking singing lessons. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RhO1Ign4N1I
  8. The link is below... I just want you to be brutally honest! Yes, the video screen is black lol... but you will just hear my voice. I just want to know the truth because some people say I can't sing then some say I do. If I can maybe I'll take voice lessons in the future and if I can't I can just continue to sing to myself. lol maybe you can even tell me what category I fit into like if I would be tenor or alto or something. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f-mpIY5iSTs
