  1. http://picosong.com/fMsj/ I wanted to sing along and do a cover of one of my favorite classic metal singers Eric Adams. I've been warming up more before my singing sessions and have found my higher singing improving in this way. Lemme know what you guys think. Also I admit I went an octave lower at the final A5 bit because I simply can't get my voice that high without going into a really quiet falsetto.
  2. http://picosong.com/crQz/ Here's me singing in a different way than the last few covers I've posted. This showcases my natural voice and lower register well I'd say.
  3. Thanks for the responses and reception guys! Yeah there was definitely some points during that recording session where my voice felt kinda sore, but I had been singing high for so long I'm not sure if it was because of bad technique or not. All I know is I have difficulty getting into that "voice" every day. ronws, I actually have two covers of Silent Lucidity that I have done. One, much like this Eyes of a Stranger cover was recorded at Adoney's studio but I only did the first half. The more recent one I did has a lower sound quality (and also like this Eyes of a Stranger clip I used an instrumental track I could find on youtube for it), but has the full song. I could post one or the other, but I think they reveal more of the difficulties I have in my 4th octave than the other covers I've posted on this site so far.
  4. This is me singing the Queensryche classic up to the solo. I had to put a lot of effort into getting the right takes for this, but I think it turned out quite well overall.
  5. Thanks for the feedback guys. The only problem I feel like I'm having that I'm not sure how to fix is for some reason it's quite hard to get to the point in a practice session where I can sing like this. It took hours that day to get to that point, and it becomes frustrating how I seem to get a bit yelpy if I don't put in the proper amount of time to get there. Could I be missing something?
  6. I've been working a lot on my higher technique lately after hitting a wall with it for quite a while. I surprised myself once I figured out I could sing this song. Let me know what you guys think. It starts off a tad shaky but gets better and better as it goes along making it one of my proudest moments as a singer so far.
