    Hey I was wondering if you guys could listen to me sing here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e7Oyomow9X0&list=UUSWarbD_wwCZl4J8lHGeKhg and describe my tone as well as any general comments that might come to mind. It was posted in my about me section but I just thought I'd post it here again to get some comments. Thank you guys! I love constructive feedback as much as I love positive feedback.

    ah Thank you for the awesome feedback SLM. Making things more legato is something ill read about....don't have the $$ for a vocal coach. Thanks for the compliments also!

    Wow thanks for the feedback Ronws. I was recording on my laptop mic while standing a bit far away from it. I'm a total mew-bie so I didn't realize it would have such a big impact on the sound. Now I know well enough not to do that anymore.

    I see, Thanks Lucca that makes a lot of sense. I just have to find something more challenging vocally. :)

    You are almost speaking. Try making the phrases longer so it sounds like you are truly singing. Find some easy breathing exercises to make sure that you are breathing correctly while singing, this is something I am also working on.

    You have a wonderful gravel to your voice. The song suits your tone, however, the chorus sounds a bit forced, I think you should relax into it. I hear some straining in the chorus, but maybe that is the gravel-like sound you wanted us to hear? Nonetheless, its an okay cover, you have a good voice.
