How did you hear about TMV World?

  1. "Yellow" is a song by the British rock band Coldplay. The band wrote the song for their debut album, Parachutes (2000). The song was recorded in March 2000 and released on 26 June 2000. It was Coldplay's breakthrough hit internationally. "Yellow" has since been covered by various recording artists worldwide, and remains one of the band's most popular songs. Clarissa's acoustic version recorded in RVA Recording Studio, Oct 2022. This song is dedicated to Clarissa's friends and love ones! Hope, Peace and Love to all suffering peoples of the world!!! Feedback much appreciated. https://youtu.be/QFml_YFnv88
  2. I've been singing all my life. Am in a working band. But would like some kind of review on my voice. I am a multi genre singer. Covering many varieties from Pop, Rock, Hard Rock, Blues & Metal. Both male and female songs.
  3. "Drive" is a song by American rock band the Cars, released on July 1984. Written by Ric Ocasek, the track was sung by bassist Benjamin Orr. Upon its release, "Drive" became the Cars' highest-charting single. The song is most associated with the July 1985 Live Aid event, where it was performed by Benjamin Orr during the Philadelphia event. Dedicated to all our beloved young and talented working class!!! Hope, Peace and Love to all!!! Feedback appreciated. https://youtu.be/tRAF7LqL_3M
  4. I've played more than 1,000 open mics. When the pandemic shut that s*** down, I recorded this ode "Fish Bowl" to the dreamers and the fools who stood up to croon into a sweaty mic to a bunch of strangers and frenemies. Meanwhile in the corner of the room there's a glowing aquarium full of equally exposed fish: https://fridrix.bandcamp.com/track/fish-bowl-funky-margarita-mix Y'all might find the range of vocal stylistics mildly interesting, especially if you can make it to the end. Thanks for tolerating this cringey self-promotion and thanks for all the advice over the years from this forum! It might be hard to tell but I have spent a lot of time in here! ><(((;> https://frederickingram.com
  5. "I'm Not In Love" is a song by British group 10cc, written by band members Eric Stewart and Graham Gouldman in 1975. Written mostly by Stewart as a response to his wife's declaration that he did not tell her often enough that he loved her. This song is dedicated to my lovely wife, Mimi!!! I am in love!!!
  6. Can I pls get some feedback on my singing? I've posted a link on reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/singing/comments/wmr9xz/can_i_pls_get_feedback_on_my_singing/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share I know that I'm off in certain parts and I loose breath on the last word at the end. Thanks!
  7. Make You Feel My Love. Written by Bod Dylan in 1997. This song is dedicated to all my family and friends. And also to all peoples that do not have anybody to express their love and devotion to. https://youtu.be/MWkEzvOSrsY
  8. "A Song for You" is a song written and originally recorded by rock singer and pianist Leon Russell for his first solo album Leon Russell, which was released in 1970 on Shelter Records. A slow, pained plea for forgiveness and understanding from an estranged lover, the tune is one of Russell's best-known compositions. This song is dedicated to all Dads, past and present!Happy Father's Day to all loving and understanding fathers of our world!!!Peace and love!!!https://youtu.be/uTvDcEhB2jY
  9. Genesis, an English rock band, released "Trick of the Tail" album in 1976. The second track from this album - "Entangled". "Entangled" originated from a piece by Steve Hackett that Tony Banks particularly liked and went on to write the chorus and closing synthesizer solo. Hackett also wrote the lyrics which Phil Collins thought had a Mary Poppins feel to them. This song is dedicated to all music lovers of this world, peace and love to all peoples!!!https://youtu.be/1T5byDteJa8
  10. We need peace and love. Individually, we need 'em. In this world, you have to go to war to gain peace, and fight to be able to love. Very very strange world, we are in. But, at any rate, we truly need peace and love in our troubled world!!! This song, I composed, is dedicated to my Grandson, Misiri Kalayaan!!! All my love to you, and my peace I give you!!! https://youtu.be/gngJU1mVq38

  12. I sang Take me to Church on an app today. I have a terrible time memorizing lyrics and the way the lyrics play on the app throws me off. I need to memorize the lyrics. But I struggle. I could not sing the high part of this song as easily as I can now. Although it sounds like I am straining (maybe I am) I can do this all day long now. For some reason I saw a singer, Sam Ryder, and I noticed how he moved while singing and it made something click. It looked as if he was using his whole body to ‘push’ or otherwise place notes in the correct place. I tried it and could sing the higher parts of this song felling it as it was manageable. Granted, I only did this yesterday so I don’t even know if it was just s good day. Many parts of this performance make me cringe. I can clean it up but basically this is my voice. Anyhow, overall, am I relatively on pitch for the majority of the song? Do I sound decent for the majority of the song? Do I sound awful the whole time? Do I sound awful when I sing high? Also, this app has a lot of presets for voice, i chose this because it only shows 2 types of reverb and i dialed one at 25% the other at 50% (the preset starts with both at 100%). Can you hear other effects? Pitch corrections etc? I cant seem to figure out if there is a way to turn everything off in this app. https://www.smule.com/sing-recording/270407024_3890203448
  13. Greetings everyone! I'm new to this forum, so I don't know if this is the place for singing reviews. If it isn't, I'll delete this post! I've been studying singing for a year now, so I wanted to get some feedback on my voice...points to improve, which are probably a lot! hahahah Anyway, here are a few songs I've recorder here. I record in my apartment, using a sE Electronics V7 dynamic microphone, since there's no acoustic treatment here. https://soundcloud.com/lalves91/radiohead-creep-cover https://soundcloud.com/lalves91/rem-losing-my-religion-cover https://soundcloud.com/lalves91/radiohead-fake-plastic-trees-cover Thank you very much! P.s.: I'm from Brazil, so I have an accent. Feedbacks on weird pronunciations are apreciated!
  14. Sorry for partially bad quality and distortion, this is recorded using a mobile phone and a cheap bluetooth speaker... https://youtu.be/KdvhkANmfFE
  15. Here’s a cover I did with just a sm57. I am in no way a good singer so I just want some feedback if I’m any good? and what are things I am doing right and wrong. Thanks in advanced https://soundcloud.app.goo.gl/gey7chjqeD9CvSMg7
  16. https://youtu.be/Pj5L8IPwy84 I’m just a non-trained, middle aged woman who loves to sing! What do you think?
  17. Hi everybody. I would like to ask you for a honest opinion on my singing voice. My teacher keeps saying “it’s all good” but I feel I am not improving. thank you in advance for your time!
  18. Please, tear me apart with criticism. This is a new thing to me, very new. I can’t tell if my playing/singing is really fine or if my friends are trying to not hurt me. I am 40 and don’t have time for false positive comments. I always thought I couldn’t sing so fee months ago I started singing in my car. Tried to get better. I also spent a year learning guitar by myself 30 mins a day, 3 days a week, in my car until covid hit. to myself I sound good but I guess that is typical. I also cringe when I hear some parts of it. Anyhow, 2 minutes of your time. ThNk you for helping me out.
  19. Yeah, so great course. A lot of useful info, like A LOT. But made great progress. Still not close to the level I'm aiming for, but its getting better. https://1drv.ms/u/s!Aswc74K62WP_5ESOLvajN6OkYCgK edit: this is me a year later: https://1drv.ms/u/s!Aswc74K62WP_5goazxrjnzlSY5Yi?e=9tZPmf Any feedback is welcome!
  20. Could you please give me feedback on this song? I am not even a decent guitarist and I am trying to learn singing. Playing and singing comes very hard to me. Anyhow, am I in tune? I can’t really push more air through because I live in an apartment and can only practice late in the evenings and I am self conscious about that. The song is not mine and of course the singer sings it way better but, I am trying to learn to play and sing and trying to find a decent range where I sound ok and can hit highs and lows. I think this octave works for me but need your help because I can’t tell if I am in tune or if I just think I am. Anyhow. The song is ‘at the end pt1” by Wylder which btw I truly recommend to check out as he is very talented. Thank you for your time and, hopefully, suggestions.
  21. Hi all! So, I'm actually more into the guitar than singing, but since its fun to mess around alone at home Im kinda forced to do my own singing. Anyway, I havent played or sung really for many years but recently got a guitar and started whacking away at it again. Ive noticed that I have zero falsetto these days, which surprised me. Back in the old days I never had a problem with falsetto (not that I was ever really into using it anyway). But I suspect its indicative of weak chord closure? Please forgive the vox recording quality, theyre recorded through a phone earbuds till I get round to buying a mic https://youtu.be/Uc9Eh4YSR20
  22. A song I wrote with a friend (https://vocaroo.com/do0P3CKkFSV) - it shows my lowest notes and my lower and midrange singing The lowest notes (A2 on "it skips a beat") were difficult for me, it took multiple takes to get a usable recording of those notes, but singing the higher notes in the song (it peaks at A4) didn't cause me any discomfort or wear my voice out. Part of a song I wrote by myself (https://vocaroo.com/8tbs0ZCRtrA) - shows off my highest belting/full voice notes, peaking at E5. Me singing "Shandi" by KISS (https://vocaroo.com/gOxAWLQfzec) - lower and midrange singing Me singing a parody I wrote of a KISS song (https://vocaroo.com/ljFjZlNc0p7) - midrange and high belting
