TMV World Legacy Member ronws Posted December 8, 2010 TMV World Legacy Member Posted December 8, 2010 At times, your voice reminded me of George Harrison. I think your voice could use a little more volume. Either sing closer to the mic, or put more "oomph' into it, or both. And, trust me, I know, because I have done the same thing, you're floating the notes. If you pick a tone to hit on, the melody will sound stronger. By the way, it's a good song with a good storyline and memorable imagery. You should continue producing this song and get it sold.
TMV World Legacy Member brandyskank Posted December 8, 2010 Author TMV World Legacy Member Posted December 8, 2010 thank you ! =) what do you mean with " floating the notes " .. how can i improve this ? thanks for your help . greets
TMV World Legacy Member ronws Posted December 10, 2010 TMV World Legacy Member Posted December 10, 2010 Floating notes - you are starting the note below pitch and "floating" up to it. Nothing wrong with that and it was the technique of many a country and western singer. But some songs just seem to flow better if you hit the note dead on. It's mainly a stylistic thing, rather than a "technical" problem.
