Administrator Robert Lunte Posted February 24, 2018 Administrator Posted February 24, 2018 Kudos to you Simon for choosing such a demanding set of songs to sing... good for you! I decided to review this one, its sort of the iconic Meatloaf tune. How old are you? I think considering the difficulty of this song, you did a good job! 4:19 - 4:43 - You are constricting here.... I would go back and apply deliberate practicing techniques , which means work only on this part... release that constriction! I would advise that you apply vocal sob, try opening your mouth more to get some more resonance available... it needs singing vowels, not speaking vowels... and this is very hard to coach without working with you in person over a skype lesson. It really needs personal coaching to get this part. Work on this part VERY slow... try to do it with a more open throat/mouth and relaxed. Find resonance.. this chokey position your using is thin on resonance. Hope this helps. ROBERT LUNTE Founder / Author / Coach robert@thevocaliststudio.com TheVocalistStudio Student Testimonials
