head voice Could you give a Dad your opinion on my daughter's singing. She hits an A above C7 at 10 years old without formal training.

I'm trying to get an idea of my daughter's vocal quality and ability.  

Could I trouble any of you singing pros to give me your take on her voice and technique.

She is not formally trained but she soon will be.

Mic was overloaded, so tone quality was shredded.  No way to tell general musicality from it.

A suggestion: Have her pick a song she likes, or a few, and work those into her voice.

It sounds free and full to me. It doesn't look like she's straining or having any problems at all -- just very easy vocal production. I love how kids can sometimes do crazy things without their thinking/fears getting in the way too much (like we sometimes have trouble with as we get older). Great job!
