jonpall
Robert, don't forget that you sometimes have been known to be a bit controversial yourself, like f.ex. in your video "Mixed voice is dead". Not everyone is going to agree with that (not even all people who like your program), just like not everyone is going to agree with Catherine about the passagio (not even all people who like Catherine's program). I believe this results from the fact that you two are the type of people that often think outside the box, so to speak. Often, to innovate, you have to question things that other people consider the truth. Peace.

ronws
We're still talking about the gorilla in the room. Passaggio, break, resonance change, whatever. It exists. Even if a system doesn't acknowledge it, the breath managament exercises and resonance exercises deal with getting around that problem because, sorry to say, we speak differently than we sing. Yes, I said that out loud, in my "outside" voice. By the way, the emperor is naked.
Administrator Robert Lunte Posted April 20, 2011 Administrator Share Posted April 20, 2011 Speech mode is for Speaking... Singing resides in the domain of Twang.
