songbirdie
I'm looking for a vocal coach that does online lessons. I found this girl Amber Q in Los Angeles that teaches you to sing over Skype. Has anyone ever tried this before? She gives a free vocal analysis but I'm kinda nervous to try it. Lessons are like $45 is that reasonable? aldertate
Online training has limitations..... where are you located? What universities, musical theater, opera houses are in your area? It's better to find someone locally than online, especially in the beginning..... $45 is in the range.. Guys teaching at the top schools charge from $15 to $50. (Mannes, Manhattan, singers from the Met, NYC opera... etc...). Good luck in your studies... (btw it should be noted that I'm an opinionated axx.. probably because I'm right the vast majority of the time and I'll gladly let everyone know in as tactless a manner as possible. I also have a caustic sense of humor) (ed: grammar)
Validar
It should also be noted that you're as repetitive as amateur techno music.

We did a Master Class there and I partnered with Stephanie DUMOUCH and Olivier TRONQUET my TVS teachers in France. Do you know them? Robert Here is a little thing we did on TLT TV http://www.youtube.com/roblunte#p/u/12/BPUvurViKqY
Validar
BUT WHAT ABOUT THE SHOOT OUT? I would assume it will not occur now. I finally had enough of the guy, and felt compelled to say something. When someone makes the promise that they're going to be "tactless", they're admitting to being an antagonistic asshole. He made sure to sneak in lightly (and sometimes not so lightly) veiled insults toward home singing programs with nearly every post he made, and seemed to thumb his nose after each and every warning. Not having people like him here is one of the very things that has made this forum so great. If banning someone like him is what it takes to maintain positivity here, I'm all for it. Completely, outright putting us on notice that he is going to act like a jerk is not something I, as the one who is responsible for this forum, neither thinks is "cute" or witty... and will not be a problem any of us are going to have to deal with. He has since sent me two insulting personal emails that clearly indicate his lack of class and complete utter failure to understand that this result was entirely what he created for himself, just shows me that the problem runs deep in his make-up. I gave the guy three warnings, what else can I do?
Administrator Robert Lunte Posted May 13, 2011 Administrator Share Posted May 13, 2011 As for the shoot-out, yes, its cancelled... I have to be spending my recording time on some original proggy stuff Im working on right now anyways... I really dont have time for it, but if it were a fun thing with someone cool, I would... but this guy is not worth the energy.
