EvilSoup
Anyone got any good tips for working on developing stronger pitch accuracy? I hit the right notes, but too often I'm flat or sharp even in my lower vocal range. I tend to waver between sharp and flat when holding on to a note sometimes. What do I do? :|
NCdan
One thing I've noticed is that jaw placement has a lot to do with being in tune. Especially on high notes I will push out my jaw, which makes the pitch go sharp. This makes me tend to sing a bit flat to compensate, which makes me go flat when I'm not sticking my jaw out. My pitch improves noticably when I focus on keeping my jaw relaxed and not moving it forward. Just my two cents.

vocalpower
The most simple piece of advice here is that you should already be able to mentally hear a note before you sing it. This technique prepares the brain and all of the muscular systems to engage the right setup. Hope this helps :)
