Hey Guys,

i was wondering:

i can sing up to b4/c5 with a bruce dickensen kinda sound.

i sounds like the b4'rs in this clip:

from: 1.31 to 2.53

but can i sing higher than c5 in this kinda voice? cause i know that its bad to use overdrive above c5, but maybe this is curbing in the clip. cause im a natural curber. i just wanna know that i dont do something that is bad :D

thanks,

p.s: my microphone just died so i cant upload a clip today.

Yes, you can. Bruce sings mostly in curbing. He sang for example curbing E5´s in the song "Run to the hills", though some says it´s metal like neutral. But it really doesn´t matter because metal like neutral and curbing sounds similair after C5.

Good luck!

Bruce Dickinson is a subject of the crown. He is british. And, in my opinion, should be knighted. Even with short hair, he still has the appearance of an anglo-saxon warrior, albeit in short stature.

The Dane-thing was just a joke because many Danes have the ending "sen" in their surname. For example Jensen Poulsen Christiansen and so forth. His name is obviously Dickinson not Dickensen :) but you knew that of course, Mertd, it was just a spelling error.

Oh, you will see Iron Maiden, now i will be jealous. I have seen them 5 or 6 times and they always put on a great show. Dickinson is so professional like all the members, he always gives 100 % and has so much energy on stage. Last time i saw Maiden (2008)they set a new audience record - 56000 and something - on Ullevi in Gothenburg so they are obviously very populair in Sweden were i live.

One funny thing i experienced on that concert was that whole families came to watch it. And i was so curious when i saw one family sitting next to us that i had to ask - it was grandpa and his son with wife and his grandson sitting their next to us, only grandma was missing :). I don´t think you see that on many other hardrock concerts.
