MariFreakinA
Is a warm up supposed to be a specific length? I feel like when i do a warm up for too long my voice gets tired, however when i do like a 5-10 to 15 minte warm up i feel fine and can also sing high notes with ease. Is it better to do a longer warm up or just when you feel warmed up?
ronws
In my opinion, don't go for a specific time. And it's not lazy, just efficient. When you feel warmed up, you are. Some days, a few scales and few lip bubbles or sirens, or combos that, not much, and you feel fine and absolutely nail everything you do. Another day, not so much. Accept that you will have off days. However, have a warm-up that keeps you fluid and relaxed and I think you will have more on days than off days.
VideoHere
warmup times vary from individual to individual. you need to find what's right for you. just don't omit warming up (or warming down) the latter is often forgotten.
