VideoHere
hi folks, here's another example of when you're having trouble grasping a concept or technique. i opened up a mixed voice master class program i had purchased several months ago from t.e.v., and i decided to run through the exercises last night. this time around i hear a simple little phrase that suddenly lit up a bulb for me..."the pharynx is the gateway or passageway to the head voice." "the trick is to relax, visualize and "allow" the sound to travel from the mouth through the pharynx and up into the head cavities." so i think to myself i'll visualize my sound traveling from my mouth up through the pharynx and up further to the head cavities whenever i siren. then she said simply the "au" "ng" "oo" and "ee" help with this. next thing i know i'm sirening easier and more fluid than i ever have before. just goes to show you, someone can tell it just a slight bit differently and the whole thing just falls right into place.
