Anyone have any advice on what I can do differently or things I should work on to improve for next time? I just recently got back into singing and I'm gradually (but quickly) trying to strengthen my voice and perfect my singing.

Really well done. And you've got quite a belt going on. And you've got Christina's tone on the low parts down, just right. I recently watched a bio of her and she is really quite the musician, not just a pretty girl singing. Even though this song was actually written by her producer for herself. Christina heard it once and said, "I have to do that song." And made it a huge hit. Of course, I liked her in "Lady Marmelade," but I digress.

I saw Christina in the 2010 movie Burlesque, that's where I was inspired by her and decided I had to cover one of her songs.

Honesty, I love it, thank you. I too noticed where it's a bit pitchy, but not until later and it just wasn't enough for me to re-record, but will def. work on it next time. And YES, I've seen Burlesque several times now (onDemand), who knew Christina was so amazing?! :o

Wow thanks! That means more to me than you know. One of my goals as a singer is to try and be diverse enough to reach many audiences (especially ones that don't care much for female artists), so again, thank you so much for your comment :D

First of all, thank you very much

Second, I don't believe in leagues when it comes to singing. I see singing as a form of individual expression and creativity and any real artist should be able to appreciate any level of talent. Not only that but sharing your music is putting yourself out there and it takes a leap of courage not knowing what reactions you're gonna get back. And I think everyone that tries their best and puts themselves out there belong in the same league.

And third, I'd be happy to check out your stuff ;)
