NCdan
I tried asking about this on my post in the "Review and Critique my Singing" forum, but I didn't get any replies about my questions on distortion. How can I sound more relaxed and open when singing with distortion? I think I sound OK, but at least I can tell that I sound a bit... constipated when using disortion compared to when I sing without it. How do I loosen up or whatever I need to do? I've been trying to sing naturally and mix in as much distortion as I can while still sounding "resonant," but this is just trial and error. Any experienced singers care to chime in here? Thanks. jonpall
I checked your link in the reviews section but I don't seem to be able to view myspace pages from my computer. Could you put your song on a box.net or a youtube page?
jonpall
But while we're waiting for your clip, you could simply try adding a slight yawn sensation to your singing. That's a great way to relax and open both your throat and your tone.
