Do relative pitch programs help you learn to sing in tune more?

I suppose it could help you, but there are plenty of people who have good relative pitch but can't sing on pitch. Lazy support often causes flat notes. Also, I've found it helpful to picture (and place) the note before I sing it. Especially for the starting pitch. If I'm about to begin a song I hear that first note in my head before I produce it. Ideally you should do this before every note, a split second before.
