How do you all set your levels? I am struggling with getting a good mix just while practicing. Once I think I got and I start to really use my voice I can't hear the music anymore, or I drown it out. So I turn up and then the room I am in is just very loud. I practice at home in my music room/office. What do you all set the levels to of your backing track and microphone compared to your voice?

It is kind of an intuitive, or obvious thing. You want the vocals to be just slightly above and "in front" of the bed tracks, Are you using any processing? Do you have reverb or delay... that can help round the edges a bit and "weave" you into the mix a bit more.
