I'm fairly new to singing and I'm really, really bad. I'd love to get better though so I'd love it if you could give me some constructive criticism (tell me what I've done well and what I need to improve on). I didn't record myself singing the whole song as I'm pretty sure no one wants to hear me sing for like four minutes..

I gave it a listen but I had to replay it 3 times to try to get a handle on it. The recording is very low, or should I say you are singing it very low, so it's hard to get a good read.

From what I can hear, to be honest I think you have a good tone to your voice, but again it's hard to tell. It seems you may be afraid to sing (?). The vocal was very breathy which takes away from you actually "singing" the song. On parts where you should emphasize or sing a little stronger you seem to be going lower. From what I can hear I think you would sing it good if you let go and really sing it. But really, I think it's a bad song choice for an example. This song doesn't showcase anything. It has no contours. It's low key and straight forward. Probably all chest. Pick something with some varied tones and registers, highs and lows. Then try again :)

Not bad though :) Nothing a little work won't improve. Don't be afraid....sing it bro!! C'mon, pick a song with some meat to it ;)

Thank you for listening man, really means a lot.

Yeah, I'm quite scared of singing, to be honest. I'll find some time to record myself singing another song, one with more 'meat' to it :)

Don't hide your voice. To get good feedback and to learn you need to provide accurate representations of your singing. There are many here better qualified to help you than me but they need to hear "you" not half of you. If you hide in the shadows we can't judge your looks right?

You'll be fine. Let it go, and then work on whatever critiques you get. It's the first step to the top brother!
