rurokenji
Hi guys, lately i have been wondering where exactly is the resonance for falsetto felt on the human body? Does anyone know? Thanks
ronws
Falsetto is, by definition, lacking resonance or at least full resonance. But generally, your higher notes will feel as if they are in your head. However, falsetto is lack of full resonance and a lot of air in the tone from incompletely adducted vocal folds. DoverOs
most of the time, falsetto parts are lower than head voice parts
VideoHere
dover, can you explain that point? i'm not sure i understand.
DoverOs
from what I've heard, falsetto passages aren't used for really high notes, unless you are a coloratura or something... for instance a falsetto passage might be from a4-d5, while a head voice passage will be from Eb5-g#5, or something much higher. Am I on a relevant point here xP ??? This was probably hecka off topic on my part. sorry xP but technically, the falsetto goes all the way down to about mid chest voice.. VideoHere
yes, but head voice can too if trained. in fact, head voice can go anywhere falsetto can if trained. head voice can also be trained to overlap chest voice. that's what i work on as part of my routine. me personally? i could care less about falsetto. Felipe Carvalho
Sensations of resonance will vary depending on the person and what you are doing to produce the falsetto. If there are tensions involved, its impossible to know. Free of tensions, it will feel up, but where exactly its the person who will have to figure out.
