But Im not sure I heard you bridge to your head voice until the end of the song. Did you transpose this to a lower key? I didn't transpose it but the backing track I found online may be lowered. I thought it felt a little slower than the original. I'll have to check out the Journey version now and see if you're right. Most of the song was in the area of my passagio and took careful breath control not to over sing or flip into falsetto. I was actually thinking about your lift up pull back before I hit record! I actually have an old friend that I used to do karaoke shows with and he has nearly every karaoke song ever put out! I'll ask him for it. I pretty much gave up on the idea of rying to sound like him many years ago! lol I've only ever heard one singer who is identical and he sings for the Journey Tribute band Evolution.
