TMV World Legacy Member napoleonboot Posted September 3, 2012 TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted September 3, 2012 1970's style rock. "The Bone King". http://soundcloud.com/george-williams-8/the-bone-king As always, constructive criticism is welcome. I think there is a lot of guitar in the outtro, but we had two guitarists on the roster and they got carried away. The guy who mixed it put a lot of FX on my voice, maybe chorus or similar. I didn't like it initially, but I have warmed to it. It seems to fit with the song and the genre. George George can often be found playing electric stringy things, and singing... TMV World Legacy Member Keith Posted September 4, 2012 TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted September 4, 2012 Sounds great! Awesome song. The effects I hear are comp (a Ton of it) , chorus, and delay(vocal doubling) , and of course reverb. A lot of old school vocals were recorded this way (for example, old Kiss) so it fits very well with the theme. www.drop-head.com
TMV World Legacy Member ronws Posted September 9, 2012 TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted September 9, 2012 Keith already spotted it. Especially the first part of the song. Very much KISS, very much like how they recorded "Dr. Love." But after the break, the song goes somewhere else lyrical and melodically, something influenced by RUSH.
