Can anyone explain what I just did?

Even before my injury I had NEVER hit a note above E5 (exluding falsetto and "reinforced" falsetto/headvoice - I'm a little confused about that). I somehow found a new technique, today, that allows me to go higher. Weird.

http://www.rofleren.dk/music/Movie_0007.wmv (after the injury) this is the new clip

http://www.rofleren.dk/music/the_best_scale.mp3 (before the injury) around these notes this used to be what I could do.

rofleren: You escaped from the 'Chest Voice only' asylum, and are now free to wander in 'full voice in the head' land. :-)

Yeah; I was just trying to put some force behind some resonance exercises that my teacher has given me, and then I

suddenly found out that I was able to produce notes like I havent before. What I'm singing is just random nonsense

Thanks MDEW! The second clip was before the injury. The "movie_0007.wmv" clip is the new one.

I've been working with Eli Prinsen (https://www.facebook.com/EliPrinsensHVT) for four weeks since I began to sing again, and yesterday it just came to me.

The exercises I've done have been mainly scales with a very nasal/bright/heady resonant feeling. Like, "mom, mom, mom", "hum, hun, hung", "ahhh, aarrhhhh". I've never REALLY felt the buzz in my head when I tried to sing high, but yesterday I tried to focus on actually feel it and it helped me out. I wouldn't have been able to do this without doing the resonant exercises. Since they really "unlock" the feeling.

Thanks Ron! I've been very desperate about my breathing anxiety, but yesterday I found out, that even though it FEELS like my throat is damaged, there IS NO physical damage. It's all in my mind (which of course also has an effect on my singing). This is awesome, though I have to make a more permanent solution, since I can't forever not being able to rely on the signals my body is giving me.

Your description in your earlier post describes how I feel. No strain, no pain. Let the "ease" of the feel reward you. We do what rewards, we avoid what punishes.

Also, and this is always a thing for me, too, is to practice what works for you and avoid what doesn't. And when you feel the start of strain or you are falling out the sweet spot, stop. Rest, do something else for a while. Even if that means you don't practice for a long duration at each time. Better to practice and stop while you are on top of your game. Then, that becomes the habit.
