VideoHere Posted October 24, 2012 Share Posted October 24, 2012 another reason the "ee' and the "oo" are so beneficial is they are inherently narrow vowels (or throat shapes) which are condusive to the narrowing needed as you ascend into the head voice range. "ee" and "oo" call in the least amount of chest voice musculature, so you are able to isolate the head voice to train it and strengthen it specifically.. the "aw" is also a great vowel sound....great from training to meld the two musculatures (head and chest voice).
