When getting into my head voice, I don't have it perfectly, but I find sometimes, I think my chest voice is coming along with more air I put into it. What is the cause of this?

When I get into my head voice, it's not perfect and it seems i need a lot of air to get to it otherwise the sound just goes back into my throat. The result is a really loud sound, how do I make it so that it isn't loud all the time? Sometimes I can get there without it sounding loud but it sounds breathy

Less air is one thing.

More support.

Bob has a good exercise. Sing MAY on a scale, start strong and stay strong.

Try to keep your support stable and the volume the say.

Think up and back towards your soft palate and try to place the sound into there.

Maybe add a cry as you ascend past E4/F4. C4 being middle C.

Nice dstarr that will close the gap and correct the support. You to Owen almost a feeling of inhaling not blowing out the air. Remember being able to suck in a lot of air and hold your breathe is of really no benefit unless psychologically it helps you but you didn't hear that from me that was Miller,Riggs , Caesari the list goes on.
