Opaa
Hi guys, I feel like I've made progress. Here's a bit of Adam Lambert: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8384032/2012/2012-11-13%20If%20I%20had%20yoy1.mp3 Make sure to turn the volume up, it's pretty low volume recording.. The progress is that my headvoice is stronger and more dominant than before, I'm able to lean to it more, rely on it more, use more dynamics with it and also bridge earlier. But I still have that nasal narrow sound, maybe even more pronounced now after all this headvoice work. And I think my voice sounds weak. Any suggestions on what to work on now? Surely I will keep on doing Messa di voce and try to strengthen my voice even more and swell more chest musculature, depth and balanced resonance into my mix. But I would be open to suggestions if you have any!
devaitis
Take it opposite. Try to sing a'la Lambert when he sings lighter stuff. Don't imitate his full voice for a while. I am wondering if you could deal with sth like that Smooth it. Be smart next time, not power, not strength, not stamina etc... but resonance should be your best friend atm.
