singingbeginner
Does anyone know the technical term for this technique :50 1:02 1:05. Its the higher pitch he suddenly goes into. It sort of sounds like a controlled voice crack. Does anybody know what this is called and any detailed description on how to probably do it? Thanks everyone! Sorry not sure how to emb. gilad
Hey Sb. I am not in any way an expert, but to me it sounds like the start of a Yodel. Nothing special... Anyone else?

VideoHere
i hear that as a quick transition moving from his light mix to a heady yodel and back to his light mix. you need the ability to drop out of the mix's fold tension and relax the folds to enable the switch to a headier more airy sound, then bring back the fold tension and get back in your mix. it's basically a yodel. yodeling requires a relaxed vocal track to allow the switch to occur. no biggie.
