TMV World Legacy Member ScratchTracks Posted December 10, 2012 TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted December 10, 2012 Hello everyone, My name's Dave, 41, from Canada. handle is : ScratchTracks. Anyway, I'm sorta new to singing - at least with this technique.. I use to close down the sound a lot (like having marbles in the back of the throat - typical grunge / alternative of the 90's), and over used Mask to achieve a different sound.. I have some acoustic tracks of me singing and playing my guitar, at : Sound quaility isn't bad, but could improve (recorded on my ipad).. Please let me know your thoughts, and all comments are welcome - even negative ones... Thanks All. Dave "ScratchTracks"
TMV World Legacy Member ronws Posted December 10, 2012 TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted December 10, 2012 So far, I've only listened to "The Rooster." Good stuff. Channeling a bit of the Layne, there. Friends and I would butcher the lyrics. "Ain't found a way to grill beans yet"

TMV World Legacy Member ScratchTracks Posted December 10, 2012 Author TMV World Legacy Member Share Posted December 10, 2012 @ ronws: Thank you, I usually like to change the lyrics up a bit as well, to make them more personal.. I love the " ain't found a way to grill beans yet" . .haha.. @ Seth: Thank you as well.. Haha.. No.. that's my 3 year old.. Before I recorded that song, we were singing it together.. so that was his way of trying to emulate me (or AIC) as it may be. . ;-)
