University Bachelor of Music Classical vs Jazz

Hi I'm 18 and I'm currently applying to universities and the main question universities ask when applying are if i want to enroll in Classical or Jazz.

and i was wondering if anyone could help clarify the difference between the two and what i would get out of them. i already know personally that i do have a greater liking to jazz and improvization/runs in singing but apperantly classical is like the "top" one for voice perfection and technique.

applications are due very soon and im kinda stressing with this since i know how much i love singing and music, and i want to pursue it in university and learn there but will jazz teach me good singing technique, what should i do.

Also if anyone knows any good male Baritone audition pieces for University feel free to let me know!
