jco5055
Hi All, We all know that the highest notes in livin on a prayer happen in the last chorus. During the last chorus, I wonder what the highest note is which happens at livin. I am talking about the original album version(not the de-tuned versions from their live shows) and I am looking for notes such as CDEFGAB and #b... etc that livin is at. Thanks. D#5 is the highest, being the syllable "liv" in "livin on a prayer" after the solo.

TheSnagger
Hey all, I'm new to this forum and found this topic through Google, I've found this version of Always of 2008. Very powerful chorus. Jon's voice was very good that day. He even belted "I Believe" that night. Also notice this performance from 2010 of the song "Runaway". In the end Jon is actually singing the high notes. You can't hear them clearly but you can actually see him do it. So he's still able to do that. And while I'm at it, I wanna include this. Just like the "I believe" performance I mentioned earlier, this was also a song they did for the first time on the lost highway tour. At the 5.20 mark you can hear him belt out a strong full note again. And last but not least. June 13, 2008 in Amsterdam, a concert I attended myself. He actually screamed! During the bridge of keep the faith. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xL8nriCKQaw This clip conveniently starts at the bridge/crossover to "Sympathy for the devil". Around 1:30 the screaming starts. Just listen from there on Ok, I'm gonna stop now haha.
