Vyper
You know when you listen singers like ronnie james dio, meat loaf or matt barlow you immediatelly get amazed about how powerful their voices are and they aren't using operatic voice and when they peak in terms of power in some of their songs there is a slight vocal fry kind of rasp. My question is it possible to sound as powerful as them with training or is it something natural which you are born with. here are some examples: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iy6URlmeUpk
Owen Korzec
It depends. I do believe every voice is capable of delivering some sort of power with the right training. But I think the tonal quality and range of that power is determined by a combination of physiology and training.
Danielformica
You can absolutely learn to sing with more sound, intensity, power. And you can learn to add rasp or distortion. All of this takes a little time and effort. But is achievable.
