Check out my new piece. :D

There are a few pitchy moments, I consider auto-tune cheating for all demo purposes.

Thanks!

I liked it. I could see this synchro-licensed to whatever the next remake of "Excalibur" will be, or any treatment of the legend of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. Because that is what was going through my head, listening to this.

As for the few pitchy spots, well that depends. If you were to release this professionally, sure, fix that. With patches. You don't have to sing the whole thing over, just the parts that are a problem. If it was just one bum note, patch that if it was more than 10 cents off. Less than ten cents, tune it.

Legit producers do. And the people here who call themselves producers, with the exception of my brother, are not listed in the credits on any published release that I know of. My brother is listed as producer on the credits of his own self-produced album, now available through his website and he does not use autotune. But he is a maverick, And I am proud to be related to him. And I digress.

So, yeah, you don't have to tune for a rough demo, though others here will hold your feet to the flames for the pitchy spots.

Everyone gets pitchy and I don't say that to be self-serviing in the pitchiness of my own recordings. It's just a fact of life. We are humans, not machines.

Anyway, Adon, you are an inspiration to me. Even though I am probably older than your father. You are a singer, not just a technician. You are a songwriter, not just a vocalist. And you make your voice work for you.

Bravo.
